PARENTING

There is no shortage of parenting advice out there. This was true in generations past, but with the emergence of social media, it’s hard to avoid the barrage of parenting do’s and don'ts.

I think there’s a lot of good content out there right now. I also think it can be overwhelming, idealistic, and often contradictory.

The difficulty with generalized parenting advice found online is that it’s general. It’s not specific to your family or particular situation.  This type of guidance can be helpful. But when problems arise, crowdsourcing solutions through social media can be confusing and defeating.

While all parents experience periods of struggle, meeting with a trained professional for individualized and thoughtful support to guide you through parenting hardships can be incredibly helpful and empowering.

Common issues parents bring to therapy include:

  • Sibling Relationships

  • Child or Parent Anxiety

  • Managing Technology

  • School Difficulties

  • Behavioral Difficulties
